A Spring Style Guide

Spring is a time of confusing weather! One moment it is bright gorgeous sunshine and the next rain and snow! It's no wonder that deciding on outfits is a mind field, particularly for the horse owner! But do not worry for I have curated a brim-full of style inspiration for your photo-shoot!

The best thing about spring fashion is that it is so diverse! A fur-trimmed coat can be just as suitable as a dress and boots! Your outfit simply needs to suit the weather of your photo-shoot. However, I can suggest that it is always wise to bring a nice thick jumper to layer up with as spring weather is a trickster!

Wardrobe

So its a lovely sunny day but the wind is blowing! Gilets can be perfect, paired with a soft light jumper, and your best pair of long boots! Us equestrians all love a little fur trim! A statement thick coat or cape can be perfect as a stand-alone piece or used as an overcoat!
On those hotter days, shirts or dresses can act as a lovely change of clothing, worn with short boots or long! floral patterns or plain. If you have a lighter coloured horse more natural and softer colours can compliment them well. For darker horses, darker tones such as navy or plum can match nicely.
Just remember your personality!

Accessorise

Accessories can work in any season! They can bring a special spark to an image and also help battle the weather! Hats, scarves and belts can add a pop of colour and keep in with the country fashion.

Jewellery and Make-up

Makeup and jewellery can take your images to the next level bringing out a little bit of sparkle and glamour at the horses! As everyone says diamonds and horses as a girls best friend!

With every photo-shoot your will receive my detailed style guide as part of your welcome pack and as part of your consultation we shall go over what to bring to your shoot! So there is no need to worry about what to wear! For every photo-shoot we do between 3-4 outfit changes or adjustments, so its really what can you fit in your car! Or if you are lucky enough to have your horses at home we can spend some time selecting pieces from your wardrobe and putting together your fabulous outfits together!
